Description

This isn’t a piece of gear—it’s armour. When the timber’s flooded and the marsh is locked in ice, the ambush wader drives you straight through. Fully waterproof so you can charge into the nastiest water without hesitation. Proprietary reinforced boots laugh at sharp sticks, jagged rock, and anything else trying to punch through. Reinforced knees and seat are built for crawling, crouching, and staying low when wings start cutting the sky. An adjustable belt and battle-ready back harness keep you strapped in for the grind. The Ambush Wader is made for one purpose—getting you where the birds are, season after season.

Too short

"The ambush waders seem to be well-constructed but they were too short for me. I bought a 13 stout. I’m 6’4” 255lbs and wear a 38x34 pant. With the shoulder straps fully adjusted they were still too short for me to comfortably wear. I could feel the waders tugging and getting tight with every step. The waist and chest were plenty big enough even with additional layers on. The material felt like it would be durable and warm but I chose to send the waders back before putting them to the test. The boots were comfortable and fit me well. My boot size varies between a 13 and 14 depending on brand. I would recommend these waders if you are a more standard size than me. The customer support at skre was top notch and I really like being able to call them and quickly talk to a real person. I will buy from skre in the future for other hunting necessities. Give them a chance!"

Strap sewn on backwards and wrong color sent

"Kind of disappointed in the product for the price point. Left shoulder strap was sewn on backwards and wrong color sent. Ordered brown but got the other version. Seems way brighter in person than the actual photo. Works well on the tundra in Nunavut."

I wish they made a tall

"Go them they seemed like great quality but if you inseam is over 34 you won’t be able to kneel down, bummer. Customer service was great though!"
