"First time buyer and I have to admit, at first I was a bit skeptical but that all changed after my first order arrived. I am 5'10", 215 lbs, muscular build, and the XL Hardscrabble Jacket fits perfectly. I also ordered the pants in a 38 regular, they are a little long but fit perfectly for layering. Highly recommend and you can't beat the price or warranty. Waiting on Memorial Day sales to add more."

"Great pants, very well made, very functional. The fit is perfect. I'm 6'2" and weigh 225 lbs, waist size 36. I ordered a size 36 and it's perfect! The only downside is they're very noisy for small game hunting. I'll use them for fishing"

"All my hunting clothing other than base layers is SKRE, because it fits, it’s quality, and it’s high value for the money. Hardscrabble pants are great, comfortable in a wide range of temps. Planning wearing these on a drop camp archery elk trip in CO this Sep, assuming I draw a tag. Temps should be from 40s to high 70s during the day, and the vents on these should do the trick."
Very Impressed with these Pants
"I purchased the ash brown solid color in size 30 Regular. I'm 6'0" and about 175 lbs, lean build. These are some of the best fitting pants I've ever worn. Purchased a few weeks ago. So far have used on three, 10-15 mile hikes with 3k+ ft of vert on each. Very happy with the fit, feel, and function. They are a little heavier fabric which has been great for cold mornings, but they still breath well and the vents allow you to dump heat on the steep climbs. I've been comfortable in temps ranging from 30-75 degrees F on hikes. Kept my legs protected walking through oak brush and briars too. Pockets are placed well for when using a pack w/ a hip belt. Will certainly be buying more SKRE gear in the future. Very impressed so far."

"I love these pants. 6 feet tall and 250lbs. I ordered size 40 waist and I wish they came in shorter pants length sizes. These are WAY TOO LONG and now I need to decide on altering them or folding them up 3 times Order two pairs and I will order from SKRE again. ."

- Great question! Our Tall inseam is 36 inches
- Hi - what is the leg opening measurement?
- That is a great question. The opening for the 32 inch waist is going to have a diameter of around 7.5 inches and a circumference of approximately 15 inches.
- When are you re-stocking new sizes that are sold out?
- We are expecting a full restock in the next 2-3 weeks.
- Are there any options in larger sizes coming for all the pants?
- For this year our sizes will be 30-42 waist.
- What is the difference between the Hardscrabble pants and the Hardscrabble V1 pants.
- We have added extra space to the hips and crotch area. The fit should be more comfortable .
- Did they lengthen the rise on these? The v1 were low rise and didint give much room in the seat

- The Hardscrabble pant don't have the microfleece liner. They only have the outer layer. the Kodiak pants have the microfleece inner layer.
- Are the Hardscrabble jacket and pants waterproof?
- The Hardscrabble Pants are not waterproof. They are a soft shell outer layer designed to be extremely light weight, breathable and durable.
