"Great quality and fit at an excellent price!!"
"I wore these for the majority of a military course (Infantry Warrant Officer) in Gagetown, New Brunswick, Canada. For context, CFB Gagetown has an extremely high water table with swamps capable of existing on high features throughout the area. Areas of lower elevation consist of swamp, thick forest, and alder bushes. The assessed portion of the course consisted of a 12 day exercise consisting mostly of dismounted offensive and defensive operations with roughly 2-4 mile infils every 6-12 hours (so a lot of walking through some fairly swampy terrain). The Skre Gaiters held up very well, helping to keep the swamp mostly external to my Lowa Renegades. The only points of failure was a stirrup buckle bending, the boot lace hook bending, and a spruce branch punching through the top of one of the gaiters. Some modifications would make these excellent: -Make them about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch shorter at the bottom to form a better seal (also as I am a bit shorter about another 3/4 inch at the top). This might have been a result of having a US 8. 5 boot. -Invert the boot lace hook and make it stronger, so that it slides underneath as this would help with the first point -From a military perspective, make them in the summit pattern or coyote brown and make the SKRE lettering non-reflective (although a sharpie solved this issue) -Also, while I have never seen this with Gaiters, add an additional tension buckle just above ankle height to cinch up prior to going through some of the deeper stuff to help keep water from going over the top of the boot."
"The m/l fit great on my 10 Crispys. Very well made, can't wait to try them out."
"Wow ,the quality of these gaiters is top top notch ,very adjustable"
"These Gaiters are built out of quality materials and are well put together. I’ve been using these in the woods in snowing conditions and they have been great. My one comment would be that they seem to fit a bit small for people with larger calves. I’m 5’9” tall with a 31” inseam, and the large size fits length wise, but I’m right on the edge of adjustment, and they fit snug. Ample adjustment for people with skinny legs though!"
"Have not used in the field yet, but material quality looks and feels top quality. Very happy with the purchase!"
"Buckle broke before I even used them. Contacted customer service two weeks ago and no response"
"Very happy with these Gaiters. The material is really nice. fit is good. I like the design better than my old OR gaiters. Fit and finish is very nice."
"Calidad"
"They’re great. Super nice quality. But, I exchanged the large for XLarge hoping they would be wider in fit to accommodate my large calf muscles. They do, but also are a lot longer. They run up too tall now and I can’t wear them comfortably. A couple options for width, or maybe some adjustability would be great."
