"Finally upgraded my hunting clothes to the hardscrabble pants and jacket. More of a tailored fit compared to my older under armour cold gear which fits our hunting style of hiking back in on public ground. Vents on the pants and jacket definitely help disperse heat while moving"
"I am extremely pleased with these pants. They are light weight without feeling thin and flimsy, they are durable. I just got back from a mid season Elk hunt and these pushed through dense brush and still look like the day i got them. I got blood on them while processing my animal. The blood did not stain. I wore these for 8 days in a row and you wouldn't know. I sat on damp ground and stayed dry. I slid down a slate rock slide and they didn't tare. Im getting another in a different pattern/ colour. My best gear investments this season are SKRE!"
"Last week I spent 6 days in the backcountry moose hunting in Newfoundland, Canada. The hardscrabble pants (and jacket) didn’t disappoint. With a thin merino base layer the pants kept me warm in the cold mornings, and I was able to open the vents to exhaust heat when the day warmed and the terrain was demanding. Lots of great storage in the pockets, appreciate the zipper closure, easy to move around in. If I had to criticize the pants, I wish they had a pocket for knee pads. That would make them perfect. Will but again in a solid colour for hiking."
"Good quality clothing at a decent price. Love the hardscrabble pants the most, but the jacket also fits well and is fairly quiet. The zippers could be a little quieter, but they’re manageable. Please put my purchase and will be ordering more in the future."
"They looked shiny and faded when I first saw them, but when I went walking around I saw how they blend in with everything. They’re heavy fabric and deflect burrs well they also have the side vent and you can unzip all the pockets to heat dump. They’re ergonomic, the gusseted crotch and articulated knees work well. I’m pleased I will order a set in summer weight next."
"Everything fit great! Maybe slightly long but that’s a me thing not a design. They are super comfortable and decently warm! Super happy with the purchase. "The pants fit true to Size and they are comfortable and perfect for fall hunts. Reason for 4 stars is they are some what ridged on the outer layer, I am hoping with time they soften up. I say this only because the material on the attack pant is softer and more pliable and that is the closest comparison to the hardscrabble. Overall great pant."

"The only complaint I have is that for hunting gear, it is not quiet for going through brush or shrubs. Love the warranty but may sell them next year and get something with more of a fleece type outer layer."
"I have the version one of hardscrabble and now the version 2. The version one fits more athletically but are tight throughout the hips and waist but the version 2 are a bit baggy and longer than the version 1 but fit better in the hips and waist. The quality is fantastic and I will continue to wear both!"
