"Les grandeur sont parfaites pour ma grandeur et choisie en fonction de mes sous-vêtements,pour les motifs de camouflage,le Gray slate est pour la chasse en lay out boat et le solace pour la chasse aux chevreuils et coyotes en hiver! Pour l’efficacité,je vous retexte en mars 2027. merci ! Thank you !"

Very nice coat. Sleeves are

"Very nice coat. Sleeves are longer than any coat I have ever had , that’s the only complaint."

CHAD P. (5/5)

Legit

"Haven't been able to use it yet but it seems like just the ticket to stay warm in the stand. Seems a bit short in the waist area, wish it covered more of the lower half. I guess it wouldn't matter if it was paired with the bibs. I did have to exchange for a bigger size which was painless. Overall I believe I'll be happy with it"

Chris D. (5/5)

Impressed

"I bought this jacket for late season hunting up in Northern Minnesota for those 0-30 degree days. So far I'm impressed with the quality of the jacket and looking forard to trying it out late this fall!"

Shawn (5/5)

High quality

"But M is to small. I needed a Large but no stock. Will wait till there is to exchange"

Martin G. (3/5)

Guardian jacket n bibs: Fits

"Guardian jacket n bibs: Fits true to size, seems well made. Won’t get to test it until late season this year, last week of November in northern Saskatchewan will be a great test. Q - the jacket bottom 6 or so inches is not insulated, the insulation stops at around the waist/belt area. Why is this?"

Clay U. (5/5)

Guardian jacket

"Nice jacket. I was able to compress it using a small sleeping bag compression bag bought on Amazon"

Guardian Late Season Jacket

"I like this jacket so much I bought two of them! I put one jacket and the gaurdian bibs (along with the 300 Kaibab Merino wool hoodie and bottoms base layer plus Deadfall gloves ) to the test snowmobiling in -15 C for several hours. Stayed very warm and comfortable. I can't wait to use them for some late season whitetail and waterfowl hunting next season. All products I have bought so far are exceptional quality!"

Q&A

How quiet is this piece?
It is a quiet piece for it being waterproof. It is not as silent as a full fleece Jacket would be but it gets the job done for close range tree stand or blind hunting.
I just received my Guardian Jacket in the mail. So far I'm very satisfied. I noticed on the tag it says the jacket has zippered side vents. I could not find any, and was not expecting any either. Is this just a typo?
We apologize for any confusion! We will take a look and let you know! what it might be referring to. Thanks,
Best way to wash?
That is a great question! I would recommend hand washing or washing on a cold gentle cycle and then hang drying. If you use the dryer, I would recommend air only with dryer balls or tennis balls to help with the fluffing of the down.
What fill is the duck down? This makes a big difference. Also, is this wind proof?
All of our down is an 850 fill power! We do not advertise as windproof but it is wind resistant. Our outer shell with the dense down protects from wind exceptionally.
How wind resistant or windproof is this guardian jacket
The guardian jacket is both wind resistant and water resistant
How packable is the Guardian jacket and bibs?
They are not very packable.
I'm looking at the guardian late season jacket my chest measurement are 45. Would you suggest a large or extra large?
I would go with XL.
I’m curious as to how this gear holds up in northern Michigan in a stand against rain and wind, I’ve always trusted the goretex brand but Skre’s customer service and new start has me wanting to commit, I need to know how their gear holds up if it’s not partnered with gore Tex…?? Why not gore Tex, how does skre compare without it?
The Guardian Series was designed to withstand the coldest conditions. Its a true late-season piece designed for the extreme cold, snow and rain. The jacket does weigh about 2.5 lbs so its a bit heavier than our other pieces, but it has up to 13 oz of down which makes it an awesome insulation piece. As far as Gore Tex, the material itself has a lot of the same components. The Guardian Series does have a waterproof barrier along with a pass through harness slot to be used in tree stands. If you have any additional questions please feel free to reach out at 435-704-9059.
So when you do not have a size available how long till back in stock?
Depends on the product. Are you specifically looking at the Guardian Jacket?
Is the hood removable on the Gaurdian coat? And are the sleeves inside a slippery material?
The hood is not removable. The inner shell is a polyester material that makes putting your arms in the sleeves very easy.
