Teflon Shield+ DWR applied to the face fabric ensures an excellent water-resistant barrier when moisture is present. Rich in features and quality, we used industry's best YKK zippers on all 4 pockets, added a storm hood with dual cord locks to direct rain away from your face, keeping you warm and dry. Additionally, we added dual cord locks at the waist, allowing for full adjustment and a watertight seal. The Hardscrabble is an excellent outer layer to conquer all the seasons.

"I ordered a medium which fit beautifully but I wanted to be able to layer a hoodie and thin down jacket . With the easy exchange I retuned for a large. I am able to use the Velcro on the cuff s to reduce the length. This weekend I bundled up with the hoodie and thin down jacket with plenty of of room. I like extra room. I am 5’6”. 135. As noted the medium was great but I wanted more room. The large is bigger obviously but not excessive."

"I've been able to use this jacket while my husband was out hunting during the late season. I was warm and dry. Here in the PNW, it rains a lot. Especially November-February. I ordered the ash brown for my hunting season and the slate grey for everyday use during our wet season. I'll be happy to try this item during our cold season. I ordered a large, and I can still fit a hoodie underneath the jacket. The arm length is just right. I hate jackets when they're too short. The pit zippers are what caught my attention."
