"Guardian jacket n bibs: Fits true to size, seems well made. Won’t get to test it until late season this year, last week of November in northern Saskatchewan will be a great test. Q - the jacket bottom 6 or so inches is not insulated, the insulation stops at around the waist/belt area. Why is this?"

"I like this jacket so much I bought two of them! I put one jacket and the gaurdian bibs (along with the 300 Kaibab Merino wool hoodie and bottoms base layer plus Deadfall gloves ) to the test snowmobiling in -15 C for several hours. Stayed very warm and comfortable. I can't wait to use them for some late season whitetail and waterfowl hunting next season. All products I have bought so far are exceptional quality!"
"Very impressed with your product. I ordered late in the year, it showed up in December. I got to wear it on my first day of holidays to hunt and fit perfectly. I tagged out on a beauty 8pt that evening, ending my season. It was -18C that day and I was as warm as could be. "Yes, the brushed fabric makes some noise. So does the wind proofing layer that can kind of squeak. HOWEVER, if you are wearing this it’s extremely cold or windy and everything is making noise. I couldn’t even hear the material at -25C but could in the silence of my living room. It is actually quieter when cold than at room temperature yet remains pliable. Tested this on my deck at -15. No noise. No other review mentions this. Anyway, at the temps you wear this kit the snow squeaks underfoot, the frozen leaves and branches snap and shatter, your stand squeaks and creaks, the wind swooshes, etc. so the near silent fabric is absolutely not a concern. I can easily draw my bow at -25 without making noise. If your priority is staying warm then Guardian jacket and bibs excel at that. The down is so thick it makes me look fat but I care about function over vanity and this kit extends my season and time in the outdoors. Top quality. Well made. Nice hidden features like cavernous chest pockets, fleece lined side pockets, lens cloth, webbing loops at neck to tie on calls or range finder before stowing in pockets, hood cutaway to increase view and hearing…overall, an awesome product"
